    "abstract": "This document describes the colorimetric processing implied by the standard SMPTE ST 2067-40:2016, Interoperable Master Format – Application #4 Cinema Mezzanine. It concerns the conversion of the colorimetric values obtained by digitising motion-picture films, or at the end of a digital post-production, into linear XYZ space (Important Note 1).\nThis space makes it possible to keep the analysed colorimetric values in all possible trichromatic spaces. It also makes it possible to convert the data to any present or future trichromatic working space.\nTo obtain the best result, it is important to keep all information about the trichromatic spaces used for digitization or calculation and about any transfer functions.\nWhen digitising films, the analysis filters should preferably be adapted to the color characteristics of the film stocks being analysed.",
