Metadata is a key aspect to allowing this system to work effectively in managing the storage, use and movement of digital files within a broadcast news and production facility. Technologies from CONVERA™ such as Screening Room® provide the ability to begin the process of indexing video content as close to, if not at the point of content creation and allows for its management throughout the content life cycle.
