However, at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, the Master Grid is celebrating its 22nd birthday, and since it is comprised of relays and DTL logic it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. Hence there seemed to be an ideal linkage between the upcoming Olympics master router acquisition and the planned 1992/93 replacement of the ageing Master Grid.
