The Technical Operations Center (TOC) at Braddock Place in Alexandria, VA continues the transformation to digital video and audio operations for improved quality of service and increased number television program channels. Those program channels plus auxiliary data are compressed with General Instruments DigiCipher™ I equipment with a planned upgrade to DigiCipher™ II technology early next year.
