    "abstract": "The Radiocommunication Sector of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R) began its new study cycle following discussions during the Radiocommunication Assembly 2023 (RA-23) and the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (WRC-23), held from 13 November to 15 December 2023 in Dubai, UAE. During these meetings, new chairs for the ITU-R Study Groups were nominated. ITU-R Study Group 6 (SG 6), responsible for the international standardization of the end-to-end broadcasting chain, is now chaired by Thiago Soares from Brazil, who succeeded Yukihiro Nishida of Japan, the chair since 2016.",
