The sources used include: American Cinematographer, British Kinematography, Image (published by the George Eastman House, Rochester, New York, since 1952), Journal of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and the Monthly Abstract Bulletin (published by Kodak Research Laboratories). The list is not intended to cover the subject completely but is believed to include many of the major references.",
