In the past he was involved in the development of broadband integrated services; wireless MMDS networks, including traffic characterizations; and performance analysis. Prior to working at Samoff, Ward worked in several academic appointments, most recently as an associate professor, Hunter College, Dept. of Computer Science (1993–1996), in the area of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite networks, specializing in link protocol design and constellation analysis. Prior to this he was an assistant professor, Auburn University, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering.",
