    "abstract": "The Current Interest in new systems for editing video-tape recordings is reflected in the papers published in this issue of the Journal. Several of these papers were given at the Society's 106th Technical Conference where their presentation was followed by a panel discussion of the subject. A transcript of that discussion is presented below. It is hoped that the questions raised and the answers given will supplement, and add perspective to, the papers presented by the proponents of the various systems.",
