    "abstract": "This paper briefly discusses the need for standardization of the picture aperture of cameras and of camera motors. It is pointed out that great disadvantages arise through the use of freak or un-standard equipment, particularly with regard to the great variety of blimps now in use. The paper points out the necessity for standardizing the width of film and the width to height ratio of the picture, and for continually acquainting the cameraman in simple language with current progress in the art with relation to matters which involve the camera.",
