    "abstract": "The writer is of the opinion that the motion picture theatre of the future will be comparable to the greatest opera houses of the world. The future of the motion picture holds out great promise of rivalling or running in parallel form to grand opera. Towards this end an equipment far in excess of that which is now used will be necessary. Great improvements in projection and lighting are to be expected. New developments in apparatus will provide flexibility and ease in controlling the lighting effects. It is probable that some type of “color organ” will be used. The contour of the theater will also undergo a change to accommodate new developments in the acoustical equipment.",
