    "abstract": "In the commercial production of two-color prints on duplitized positive film printed from bipack negatives, usual processing methods involve one or more flotation or mechanical application operations in order to prevent the treatment of the image on one side of the film with the color intended for the opposite side. These operations may be slow, difficult to control, and involve considerable waste. A method is outlined whereby a protective coating is applied to one side of the film so that the opposite side may be treated by total immersion to form the proper color for the unprotected image. The coating is then removed, and the previously protected side of the film is treated. The entire process may be done in conventional processing machines by total immersion of the film in the processing solutions.",
