    "abstract": "Standard punched-tape units have been recoded and modified to bring about automatic operation of film-printing equipment. Punched tape performs the functions of discrete scene-to-scene light changes, dissolve shutter operation and automatic stopping of equipment, while cards automatically adjust light level and printer characteristics for any particular job. Complex printer operations may be performed with great accuracy at high speeds by the use of these items.",
