    "abstract": "Films are now being processed by continuous moving systems in great quantities. The automatic developing, dyeing, toning and imbibition machines are examples. In most of these systems, it is desirable to visually examine the work, as it progresses, and while the film is wet. This is especially so where coloring or registration of two images is concerned, and the operator needs to know if he has made any errors in keeping the films in step. Also in a system for applying colors, where the amount of color applied is under the control and judgment of the operator, he needs to quickly know his results.",
