    "abstract": "The production of industrial sound motion pictures is similar to production in the major studios. Limited budgets mean that certain short-cuts must be taken but the final screen results must be such that the audience is not aware of the limited budget. If satisfactory results are to be obtained, close coöperation is required between the director who has his special problems and the technical department which also has its special problems. The paper lists a number of these problems and also discusses what can be expected of industrial producers.",
