    "abstract": "Perhaps the most outstanding feature of the Fifty-Third Semi-Annual Meeting, recently concluded at the Hotel Pennsylvania, New York, was the extent to which the various services of the Government were represented. Of the forty technical presentations on the program, twenty were by members of the U. S. Army, the U. S. Navy, the National Archives, and the Library of Congress. The Society is greatly gratified at the interest shown in these Meetings by the branches of the Government, and is pleased that the various Services are making use of the technical facilities that the Society affords.",
