    "abstract": "The use of 16mm sound release prints for large-scale business and educational film distribution has been challenged by the apparent savings offered by 8mm release prints with magnetic soundtracks. The authors propose a nonstandard use of 16mm, compatible with most existing sound and picture equipment, to effect considerable economies in shooting and printing. The proposed method retains the full 16mm frame and the standard width photographic track and achieves its savings by using an established slower projection speed.",
