    "abstract": "This paper describes a simple cine-photomicrographic apparatus built for the Bio-Cinema Research Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The essential feature of the apparatus is an optical system which permits the separation of the microscope and illuminating system from the camera and its driving mechanism. The microscopist is thus enabled to use the microscope in the ordinary manner for visual work and has merely to insert the unit under the camera when the subject is ready to be photographed. In this way the same camera can be used interchangeably with a number of microscopes.",
