    "abstract": "The Manufacturers of tungsten filament lamps are being asked why they are not used to a greater extent for lighting motion picture studios. The idly curious wonder why ordinary stage lighting methods cannot be used and why stage lighting effects cannot be obtained in the “movies.” The picture producing engineers want to improve the quality of their pictures and reduce their producing costs and they wish to know if tungsten lamps will help.",
